So, you want to build the rifle yourself, to have that feeling of accomplishment. We have designed the blank for you: all fiberglass
construction, stiff, strong, very stable. Actually we think they are overbuilt! The exterior surface is an epoxy gel coat we developed for this project; it is free of voids and requires NO bondo. It
is available in either a solid color or the popular ‘marbleized’ look. Currently we are offering the general purpose Monte Carlo stock for the Rem. 700 long and short action BDL, the Summit for Rem. 700
long, the Summit XL for Rem. 700 long and the Rem. M-7, the LDR for the Ruger Mini-14 and the M1 Garand, the Ruger #1 set, and both the Unlimited and the Unlimited Tactical. The stocks are ready to fit and bed
your action, install recoil pad and studs and go shooting.
Delivery of these stock blanks usually runs 30 days or less. We try to keep some in stock at all times.
Average weight is in the 1 1/4
to 1 1/2 lb. range for sporting models and 2 1/2 lb. and on up on the Unlimited.
Sorry, we will not install pads or studs, and we will not bed these stocks. We designed them for craftsman and
gunsmiths.
