Our masterclass bedding is offered standard on all stocks. We fit your barrel and action to the stock, bed using aluminum compression posts (pillars) and the same epoxy used in the construction of the stock. This way the bedding has the same physical and mechanical properties as the stock. We bed using cloth in the bedded surface not a filled epoxy. That way chipping, cracking, and crushing is eliminated under recoil and disassembly/assembly for service. We put a lifetime guarantee on the bedding.
In the masterclass bedding process we bed the receiver, the floorplate assembly, and the flat of the barrel in front of the receiver before the taper starts. We float the barrel from the taper. We have found this system works the best in our stocks and will maximize accuracy potential.
The barrel and action can be removed from the weapon for service and cleaning as needed, and reassembled without a change in zero.
Extreme Accuracy Bedding
We offer our Extreme Accuracy Bedding service on all rifle stocks. We use the same epoxy and technology, but with this system, we use of carbon fiber cloth instead of fiberglass cloth. The process involves heating the stock and bedding during the cure and a 3 day cool down before demolding. This system gives instant rebound after each shot, all but eliminated a cold shot flyer, a more exacting harmonic balancing, and unequaled durability. We recommend the EAS on target and tactical rifles as well as big bores rifles.
